Nation lost two brave soldiers during counter-terror ops in Shopian of South Kashmir yesterday. The two bravehearts, Sepoy Santosh Yadav was 28 and Sepoy Chavan Romit Tanaji was 23 years old.
According to sources, one Lashkar terrorist Ab Qayoom Dar was killed in the operation by Indian Army during encounter.
Kashmir zone IGP Vijay Kumar said terrorist Abdul Qayoom Dar of Larow Kakapora in Pulwama, about 30km south of Srinagar, was shot dead in retaliatory fire by the combined team of Army and J&K police during the nightly operation on February 18 and 19.
